Save The Date cards for weddings

When it comes to weddings, it's never too early to start thinking about sending out save the date cards. These cards can give friends and family a good reminder of how to plan for your special day.
 
While not all weddings use save the date cards, many couples do so because it gives invitees the opportunity to plan ahead. Invitations are traditionally sent out later, when details about the party can be shared—such as the time, location, and who is in the party. Save the date cards are typically sent six to eight months before the wedding, and sending them notice can give invitees plenty of time to make arrangements for attendance, including any necessary accommodations and transportation.
 
Although save the date cards can vary in design, they are usually stylish and similar to the couple. Those who use them usually follow the traditions of the invitations, telling guests what kind of event is being held and where. It is important that the save the date cards are clearly designed and decorated so that they match well with the subsequent invitations that are sent out.
